Dr. Bennett is Chief Evangelist of Maximize Consulting, LLC, a private consulting firm she started 22 years ago. This thriving boutique firm focuses on organizational effectiveness, leadership development and executive coaching. Her client base includes telecommunications, education, pharmaceutical and government entities.

Dr. Bennett is committed to solutions that enhance workplace and leader productivity, in sync with key performance indicators.  Two years ago, in efforts to better serve the needs of our clients and potential clients, we decided to combine the work and reach of Maximize Consulting and CommonSense Leadership to form Maximize CommonSense.   We are pleased that this entity filled the gap we had hoped it would.  
We are extremely proud of the work we're able to do, sharing insights, tips and strategies from industry thought-leaders, in a format, that best suits the consumption habits of our audiences.                                                                                                                                                                  
Dr. Bennett is a highly active Senior On-Call Faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership co-facilitating programs for a range of CCL clients. She has been co-facilitator of WICT Betsy Magness Leadership & Graduate Institutes, and designs and delivers programs for media, manufacturing, business, and government entities and partners.

Dr. Bennett is also a Senior Associate with TalentTelligent and The Grace Killelea Group, where she  supports  a range of leader custom development programs.  These programs are highly rated for their success and sustainable results.

MY EXPERTISE

Her impressive career spans 30+-years in government, corporate and nonprofit sectors. She held senior positions as: V-P – Business Development at Top 5 minority-owned marketing and communications firm; held a rare dual-hatted role as Special Assistant to the Director and to the Associate Director for Field Operations – U.S. Census Bureau. She received U.S. Commerce Dept. – Bronze Medal – For Superior Federal Service (highest civilian service award). She served five years as global Diversity Director – Habitat for Humanity International. Her diverse experiences make her uniquely qualified to provide innovative and creative solutions to the challenges and opportunities of today’s complex workforce and workplace.
Dr. Bennett is a “thought leader” who uses her intellectual curiosity to design and deliver programs that help create dynamic and productive workforces. Her diverse career and life experiences enable her to customize executive coaching strategies that deliver results. Specifically, Dr. Bennett’s style and expertise make her uniquely qualified to work with high potential or plateaued minority and women leaders, who face a distinctive set of challenges and opportunities not readily perceived or appreciated, in general context.
Dr. Bennett holds Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration, Masters of Regional Planning, triple major Bachelor of Arts, and executive certificates in Executive Women’s Leadership (Northwestern) , Gamification (Wharton School) and Design Thinking for Innovation (Darden School of Business) and is certified in several psychometric assessments. Dr. Bennett is an author, college lecturer, innovator, conference presenter and sought-after inspirational speaker. Most of all, Dr. Bennett, “LD” as she is affectionately called, is passionate about inspiring and empowering others to courageously create their own destiny. To that end, Dr. Bennett created a media element of Maximize Consulting called, CommonSense Leadership to share “Practical Wisdom for Leadership and Life through blogs, vlogs and podcasts. How exciting to share her wisdom and that of others with a wider audience.
