Owning your space is not defined by anyone except you.  
Owning your space begins with knowing who you are.
Knowing who you are goes beyond knowing your likes and dislikes 
but it's about know who you are at your core
and embracing that person.  The original, authentic YOU is what the world is waiting for...
it's WHO the world needs!  
Don't wait for nor expect a Welcome Mat...it may not be extended!

Owning My Space...

I started my business 22 years ago and I have not looked back, nor have I ever doubted whether this was my destiny!  This doesn't mean that my journey has been easy!  Certainly not!  There were a lot of very long days and many sleepless night...but I persevered because I KNEW this was my destiny.  I had a vision for my future that I nurtured through prayer, commitment and hardwork.  And here I am, 22 years later, celebrating this wonderful blessing!
Own your space!  Whatever it is and however it is!  Be original...be your authentic self!  One of the secrets of my success is that I am never overly concerned about what others are doing.  I stay focused on my destiny.  Now, that doesn't mean that I didn't consult with other successful entrepreneurs...I did...but only for support and direction and NEVER for comparison.
